Examinations
Our examination board is the Association of American Dance (AAD). We run syllabus exams at least twice a year in Mime, Ballet, Tap or Modern. We are able to offer pupils more examination sessions if the demand is there and hold medal sessions after dance shows, showcasing the routines in front of a visiting examiner. This also gives the dancers a chance to wear their costumes again. Examinations are not obligatory, our main focus is to ensure that our pupils enjoy dancing but have the opportunity to further their learning, should they wish. Children also have the opportunity to be invited to the AAD Modern Arts Group, an elite membership offered solely by the examiner.
