Sally-Ann and Lara held 2 Point4 Workshops in August 2018. Both were a huge success and saw in excess of 100 pupils attend! The first was at Freedom Leisure, Hassocks with the theme of ‘America’. Children learnt to ‘Cheerlead’ with Sian, performed a song from the Greatest Showman and learnt how to talk with American accents! (or tried at least!) The studio proves to be such a lovely space to hold a workshop – we had a great 2 days!
The second summer camp was held at Ardingly College – what a setting! We welcomed lots of wonderful guest teachers along to ensure all of the children were kept busy and had fun learning a wide variety of skills over the week. We based the entire workshop on the Greatest Showman. We had the kids learning circus skills, singing, painting faces, learning dance routines, creating physical theatre, cheerleading, studying the history of the circus, acting AND they even did a little bit of cooking. What fun!
